Hey Rodrigo,
When you removed your Toad 10 User Files and the migration screen came up, was
there more than one option for Toad 9.7 in the drop-down box? What other options
were listed in that box? Have you verified that the path listed in the drop-down
box is the actual path to your user files folder? I’m wondering if another
path (perhaps from another 9.7 installation) got listed in that box as well.
Also, are you running Toad on your own local machine, or are you in a Citrix or
Terminal Server environment?
One other thing you can try is to rename (or remove) your Toad 10 folder, start
up Toad to get to the migration wizard. On this screen, you’ll see the
drop-down list listing previous versions’ folders. Next to this drop-down
list is an ellipse button. This button will manually allow you to manually
select your old application folder. You want to select the application folder
itself, not the user files folder. In other words, if your user files folder is
listed in:
c:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for
Oracle\9.7\User Files
… you’ll want to select the following directory when you click on
the ellipse button:
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for
Oracle\9.7
This should allow you to override the drop-down box and manually select your old
app data folder. Good luck! And let us know if you continue to have trouble.
Thanks,
-John
Hello!
What happened to the right side of SB? It used to contain the description of the
object selected on the left side, i.e the source code of a function or a
package.
Now it shows some weird object list (list of functions or packages for this
example).
What am i missing?
You sure you have something selected on the left? You have to click into an
object for the RHS to update, otherwise it just shows a detail list of ALL
objects of that type.
Yes, i am very sure.
Everybody is having the same problem at my office.
This issue is fixed in the next patch release. The work-around is to use tree
view or dropdown view Schema Browser.

Early December.
I removed your huge image files from the thread, they take a good minute to come into my Inbox.
