Schema Browser won't allow to add edit table or column comments

Hi all,

cannot click the checkbox below the column overview and cannot add / edit comments, though I can see comments I added with SQL.

Cannot not find a configuration item on this, any help appriciated.

Hi Achim,

This was actually a bug that was identified in 12.6 and has been fixed in the 12.7 beta. You can check it out here: http://www.toadworld.com/products/toad-for-oracle/toad_for_oracle_beta_program/default.aspx

As a workaround, you can double-click the table name in the schema browser LHS to get to the “Alter table” dialog, and you can edit table comments from there.
