What version of TDP are you using? Are you able to start Local Storage?

currently there is 4.3 and 5.0.3 installed and same issue faced in both versions. This worked after installation of 5.0.3 for considerable time and suddenly appeared.

From the message of the exception, the error is about authority authentication. Please ensure that the information in the "Credentials" tab in the "Connection Properties" window is valid and correct.
1.Can you login into https://login.salesforce.com/ correctly with your verify message?
2.Can you connect Local Storage correctly?
We need more information to analyze this issue. please generate a support bundle and send it to me.
Create support bundle steps:
1.Close TDP and right click TDP shortcut -> Properties -> Shortcut tab -> Target, append /log=all after the origin string, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad Data Point 5.0\toad.exe" /log=all

  1. Repreduce this issue.
  2. Help -> Support Bundle

    Image%205
  3. Send the support bundle to me :cjay.zhang@quest.com

Thanks.

We have not received a support bundle on this issue. If you would like to pursue sixths issue please open a support ticket.

The issue disappeared after updating to 5.0.4. Thx anyway.

Thjis is back in v 5.6

Hi Karl,
there is no Toad Data Point 5.6. Which of the Toads do you use? When does this error occur?
It is most often caused by a collision of antivirus and internal version of MySQL in Toad/TIC. It usually helps if you add the Toad and TIC folders to exclusions.

Dan,

Sorry I had mistyped the version. 5.1.6.206

The issue was resolved by tech support. The issue is I had to rename my Toad Data Point Hub directory to _OLD and restart. Seems like my connections are working fine now.

Best,
Karl
