Please go back to using the custom TOAD Window for this. Or at least provide an option to do that. It is bothersome to have to get rid of the pop up Window for every error.
The presence of an error dialog is not new. There has always been a dialog in response to SQL errors. The content in the new dialog is not new in most cases. There have always been controls to go to Quest's Knowledge Base, copy error info to clipboard, etc. The only real change there is the visual appearance of the dialog and using a dialog more in line with Windows style guidelines. I'm failing to see the outcry to return to the old here. You had to dismiss the old error dialog when your SQL produces errors, right?
On the next beta, (on or about July 6th, 2020), the popup after SQL error will be gone. If you want to re-enable it, you can go to Options -> Editor -> Behavior (But if you do so, it will still be a Windows Task dialog)
