Start up problems with Toad for Data Analysts

I was wondering if someone could help me. My system crashed a few weeks ago. Now, everytime that I start up TOAD, It tries to open every query that was open at the time it crashed. Unfortunately, I had 11 queries open. I’ve tried to cancel opening those queries, I’ve tried to save those queries, I’ve tried to change several settings within TOAD, and nothing seems to help. This takes me about 30 - 45 minutes every morning. If someone could idenitfy how I could stop the attempt for the data recovery from those queries, I’d really appreciate it.

This is a document recovery feature. You can handle this in two ways.

  1. If you let the app open fully then on the right there should be a docked window that asks you if you want to recover each doc. Just close out of the docs listed.

  2. Or in the options turn off document recovery.

I suggest doing 1) as there are times document recovery is quite handy. It works the same way as Microsoft word.

Thank you for the reply. I did the first one several times upon start up, actually every time I started in the morning for over a week. I also did the second
one and that did not work either. Finally a guy on my floor went into the settings and changed several different things, I have no idea what all that was and it finally worked.
