Tab Group with Editor and Excel File


I need to update some pre-existing queries with new information from an Excel document. Ideally to do this I would like to create a horizontal tab group with the query on top and the Excel file on bottom - thus eliminating the need to keep switching back and forth between TDA and Excel.

Unfortunately it seems as though these tab groups can only exist among similar types (i.e. editor windows).

Is there any way to do this?

I suppose it depends on what’s changed in the file. You can add the file as a data source and then use the object explorer to “view” the file. The object explorer exists as a fly-out menu. Maybe that would help?
