Hello,

try to use the tkpwizard with toad 12.6. The unixfile is not transfered from utl_file_dir without any message

and when I start before sql-trace there comes message:

ORA-06550: line 2, column 5:

PLS-00201: identifier ‘UTL_FILE’ must be declared

ORA-06550: line 2, column 5:

PL/SQL: Item ignored

ORA-06550: line 4, column 3:

PLS-00320: the declaration of the type of this expression is incomplete or malformed

ORA-06550: line 4, column 3:

It looks like the execute privilege on UTL_FILE needs to be granted to the user that you are logging in as. Log in as sys and GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.UTL_FILE TO <…>

after granting the utl_file packages all works well with the unix server tracefile - thank You
