In case you havent already heard the news, Toad for Oracle 10.1 is now officially GA (December 3rd).
All the installers were posted to Quest’s SupportLink website yesterday. (https://support.quest.com)
Main features to note:
Toad Data Modeler, our cross-platform physical and logical data modeling tool, is now included for free with every Toad for Oracle edition from Base upwards (same as Toad for Data Analysts)
For Toad DBA Suite, Spotlight on Oracle now includes:
Spotlight on Windows
Spotlight on Unix/Linux
Predictive Diagnostics
Supports Oracle 11gR2 (compatibility no new features yet)
Supports Windows 7 and Server 2008 (inc 64 bit)
There is a new Toad for Oracle community which combines the benefits of the Yahoo forums, AskToad.com and Toadsoft.com as well as adding a tremendous amount of additional resources and educational content. Check it out !! http://toadfororacle.com/index.jspa
Finally, Toad for Oracle 10.5 Beta is now available. It has a new MSI installer and the process for updating is far easier to ensure you always have the current build. You can access the 10.5 beta directly from Toad World.
