Hi,
I just installed Toad 12.5 and the Open/Save file dialog looks like it’s back to the old style (pre 12.0) and I liked the new style. I can’t seem to find an option to switch the Open/Save dialog from old style (pre 12.0) to new style (12.0 up). According to Bert Scaizo, this was supposed to be an option in 12.5, did it get removed?

This should work for you:
Open/Save dialog
A new “Online” option disables access to the Repository.
To use the previous Windows-style Open and Save dialogs:
On the main toolbar, go to ** View
| Toad Options**.
Select ** Online
| Script Repository | Disabled**.
To use the new private (local) or public (Toad World) repository:
On the main toolbar, go to ** View
| Toad Options**.
Select ** Toad
World** or Private.

Donna, the recommendation you posted was only for the script repository, not the generic open/save dialog, so this does not solve my problem. Thanks for trying.
Upon further comparison, Toad 12.5 is using the newer style Open/Save dialog, not sure why I thought it wasn’t. Ignore this thread.

You can use the old or new style, whichever you prefer. If you follow Donna’s instructions and go to online options you will see “Toad world” is most likely
selected under “script repository”. Even if you don’t use Toad world, this selection will use the new style dialog. If you change this to “disabled” then the old style is used. Whether you use Toad world or not is not relevant.
If you upgraded from 12.1 then you will see the new style dialog by default. If you are doing a new install or upgrading from pre 12.1 then you will see the
old style by default. I hope this helps.
