Toad 17.1 - Errormessage when using the Installer

Hi there,

i just downloaded Toad for Oracle 17.1 - 2024 Editions 64-Bit Full (Toad_for_Oracle_2024R1_x64_Full.exe) and at step "Product Selection" i get the following errormessage:

Exception Processing Message 0xc0000005 - Unexpected parameters

When clicking OK the installer closes.

My Windows Version is the following: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, Version 1809 (Build 17763.5696)

When using the MSI-Package (ToadforOracle_17.1.717.3711_x64_En.msi) everything works and the new version is installed without any error.
There is also Version 2023 R2 (17.0 Patch 1) and Beta 17.1 installed. I guess its something with the installer wizard and maybe my old Win 10 LTSC version?

On Windows 10 22H2 I have the same issue trying to install
Toad_for_Oracle_2025R1_x64_Web.exe
or
Toad_for_Oracle_2025R1_x64_Full.exe

Quest what is the fix for this?

I don't have any suggestions for you, sorry. Please open a support case.

This isn't common, but are you using 32-bit Windows? If so, make sure you install the 32-bit Toad for Oracle. Also, try to run the installer as Administrator.
