When I am generating XSD file through TDM using Expert Mode, the XSD file doesn't contain any details eg. entity name, attributes etc for that data model. I am not sure if I am missing any property to be set.
can someone help me on this?

XSD is XML Schema Definition - describe and validate the structure and content of an XML document. It is primarily used to define the elements, attributes and data types the document can contain.
If you want to export model content (with entity and attribute names), this is not what XSD is for. Information from the model (such as entity and attribute names) can be found in the saved TXP file (it is an XML document).

I used .txp file for importing the data model to another tool but the imported data model was not same as created in TDM. How to import toad data model to another data modelling tool in this scenario

If you mean the ERD layout, it is stored in the XSD file in the element. It depends on your "another tool" whether it can do this properly.
