If you have a query that takes say 30 minutes to run, can you open up another tab to run another query? Will doing that disrupt the query that is currently running in any way?
No, not at all. I do it all the time! It’s a great feature.
You can most certainly open multiple edtiors/Query Builders and have running SQL occuring. The appication runs these queries in the background and allows you to continue with other work. To see the progress of the queries, use the BackGround Processes docking window. This is available from the View menu. You can also use this to cancel any of the running queries.
