Hello,
this week, Toad for Oracle started notifying me about an patch 12.1.1. I have the version 12.1.0.22 installed and when I click on the small icon on the status bar, it redirects me to the toad web pages where no 12.1.1 update can be found. Is there a bug in the software or is the patch just missing on the toad web page? The attachment contains the update check dialog printscreen.

I installed it but had to restart 4 times before it would accept a db connection.
The patch didn’t correct the database browser problems.
What specific database browser problem are you referring to?
Are you using a 10.1 Oracle client?
Please elaborate on your database browser problems, there were 2 DB Browser issues addressed in the patch:
Schema Browser window initially appeared when clicking on a schema level node
Schema browser was getting embedded in treeview mode

The database browser always requires me to right click the database name and associate it with a user first, else it gives a Toad error.

I see this issue in 12.1.0 and 12.1.1. We did not know of this bug, otherwise it would’ve been considered for the patch. This issue is currently fixed in
the 12.5 beta.

Where no update software is found.
Please tell me where you are clicking. When I double click on the update notification in the status bar or when I choose help > check for updates I’m taking

You may want to reboot and run the patch installer again.
