I have toad for oracle 12.5.1.1 on windows 8.1 with 8 GB RAM. When i try to extract the schema script for a very large Schema and after 3.7 GB , the toad say out of memory error every time even when i re-try it. I have 8 GB and its not trying to use the full memory. Can someone help me out here. Thanks.
For very large schemas, you may have to extract it in a few passes, separated by object types. For example, if there are a lot of packages in your schema, try extracting the packages in one run and package bodies in another…
We haven’t started 12.12 betas yet, but as it happens, I made some changes for the first 12.12 beta, so Generate Schema Script will require less memory. So if all else fails, upgrade to 12.11 when it comes out and then download the 12.12 beta when it becomes available (probably sometime in July)

also maybe, try on a fresh reboot and "nothing " else (i.e. no other programs) open.
