Toad for Oracle not running on user's account but is running on local admin account

Toad for Oracle not running on user's account but is running on local admin. It gives the error, "Toad cannot update its client files. Please make sure that you have full read and write access to "Y:\library\Application Support\Quest\Software\Toad for Oracle\Subscription", including all files and subfolders.

I have check the read\write permission and it is there. I have also give full disk access to Toad for Oracle Beta.

The company also use an application called Delinea that gives administrator access to the user.

That path looks like you are using Toad for Oracle on Mac which does not support Toad Beta. Can you describe in more detail which version of Toad you're using and on which OS?

Your screenshot there didn't appear at first. You're running Toad on Mac which is going to be the GA version, i.e. the non-Beta version.

Make sure your ~/Library/Application Support/Quest Software folder can be written to by your account. Also, make sure wine has full access if your system is restricting which processes can access.

I am using MacOS 14.6 - Sonoma

It is already read and write for the user

I also grant it full disk access

Toad for Oracle Subscriptions

I am using Toad for Oracle for Subscription on Sonoma

Regarding your thread title... are you saying that Toad runs as expected when you are logged in as an admin account or are you saying that Toad is not running as your logged in account, but instead running in an elevated mode?

I have no idea what Delinea is. Is there any way you could disable it for testing?

Toad for Oracle is running well on the local administrator account

Thanks for the clarification. If you can disable Delinea for testing please do so. I am unfamiliar with that product and I'm no macOS expert, but the settings you've shown thus far look OK to me.

Delinea is an application that is used by our company so it can't be excluded. It like give developers a certain amount of access to be able to install
