Unable to connect to Sybase ASE 12.5 for reverse Engineering

Hi All,

I need to do a reverse engineering for a database over Sybase 12.5 and I want to use the Rev. Eng from toad data modeler.

I tried to use the connection via ODBC offered by TOAD,create a DSN connection,tested it ok but when click next I got this error message:

Connection failed because of the following error:"[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Language name in login record ‘spanish’ is not an official name on this SQL Server. Using default ‘us_english’ from syslogins instead.
"

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Hi,

On tab Advanced, try to set up "us_english" in the Language box.

Or try the native connection.

Please let me know if it works fine for you now.
