Unable to save task

Hello,

I am unable to save my query. It is very odd that when I click "Save", nothing happen. I can click "cancel" or "x" to close the window.

Please advise.

Couple things come to mind...

  1. When you save, looks like you're saving your query in the form of a ".TSM" file (which stands for Toad SQL Modeler) and not a SQL script... is the file not saving on your file system?
  2. If the SAVE button is truly not doing anything, do you get any error message? Or perhaps you do not have permissions to write to that file location?

This happens to me too.

In able to save it, I have been copying the SQL script and pasting it into a new edit window and then saving it.

Not sure why this happens since it is random.

This has been an intermittent issue for me since the first day I used TOAD. If the Save button is not working you can try just hitting Enter on your keyboard. Very strange behavior, but I have just learned to live with it.

Hi - I too have been noticing this happening from time to time and suggest using the 'tab' keyboard key to tab to the save button and then using the 'enter' keyboard key for it to work. Will submit to engineering but this workaround works for me
