I am getting Cannot load OCI DLL:
c:\app\meleti\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\oci.dll error while connecting to
Oracle databases.

I have 11g oracle client on my laptop and toad I am running is Toad for Oracle
10.6 freeware.

Morning Madhuri,

I am getting Cannot load OCI DLL:
c:\app\meleti\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\oci.dll error
while connecting to Oracle databases.
Are you, by any chance, running a 64 bit Oracle client? If so, you need
to install a 32 bit client - which may be instant client if necessary -
as Toad is currently developed using a system that is only 32 bit and
thus needs to connect with other 32 bit libraries etc.

At present, Toad cannot use 64 bit Oracle Client.

Cheers,
Norm. [TeamT]
