View Differences gives error "Oracle Dictionary: not found"

View Differences in SQL Nav 6.2 gives error “Oracle Dictionary: not found” if password credentional used to connect to DB is stored in client-side Oracle wallet. In this case if select the compared object from DB View Differences shows current scheme as empty and gives the error “Oracle Dictionary: not found”.

Hi,

Gwen and Vincent are looking into this for you and will get back to you with more update later.

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Nicolay,

Unfortunately, this is one of the limitation of the current version. However, we’re working on a solution to support proxy user and external password stored in wallet. We should have this working in the next version. You can check it out when the beta build is released.

Cheers,
Gwen
