[25.3.304] Toad not closing when disconnected from DB

Hi,

i was connected to a database (1) with a VPN connection and checked out (TC with Git), edited and compiled a package.
I needed to disconnect the VPN (1) to the customer site and connected to another database (2) with another VPN tunnel.

Now i can not close the connection (1) to the customer site, because I get always the following messages:

Here i press close, because i know i can not reconnect:

Then i receive this message:

Here i press OK.

But now the package remains opened in the editor and the connection is not getting closed.

I think the issue is, that toad want’s to check in the packages or something. But if i do not have a connection it is not possible.
Also strange is, that i could not disconnect and check in the packages from the second database (2). The database users of db 1 and 2 have the same name.

I would expect that toad sill closes the package and the connection. Hopefully my explanation is understandable :smiley:

Hi Julian.

I can reproduce this and will investigate.

It looks like trying to close the editor (or connection) gives repeated "connection is not connected" errors, but closing Toad itself works ok.
