Hi
when trying to export a dataset to excel I am getting the following: Access violation at address 012A3053 in module ‘toad.exe’. Read of address 00000054.
Please could someone tell me how to resolve this?

It’s 2007. It doesn’t produce the error all the time but it does seem to be large volumes of data that it is having problems with
I don’t know if you are using the “Excel instance” or “Excel file” export option, but they work completely differently behind the scenes, so if there is a problem with one of them, the other may work better.
Oh, I just looked at your error log. It looks like the problem can be resolved by deleting or renaming ToadActions.dat. If you have any custom actions in your app designer, this will cause those will to go away, but you could copy/paste them out to notepad, and then back into Toad.
It may be quite difficult to diagnose this since your version of Toad is just about 8 years old. What version of Excel are you using?

You are using a very old version of Toad. You won’t get much help here with such an old version.
