i noticed Oracle Sql Developer includes field-level and view-level comments in generated scripts.
Toad does not (as far as i can tell).
Any plan to add this feature?

There’s an option in Toad for that. In the Export DDL window, click on the “Views” tab. If you are in the Schema Browser on the Script tab, click the first toolbar button on the Script tab to get to the options dialog.

From the Schema Browser, select the object that you want to extract DDL for, then right-click and choose “Create Script”.
If you are getting your view script from somewhere else, let me know.
