All,
I was trying to export DDL to a file.
Here's what I did:
-
open schema browser
-
in the left-hand pane, open tab for Logon Schema, then for Tables
-
Right-click on the table's name
-
from the pop-up select Create Script
-
Fill in the parameters, then click OK
See attachment for popup and parameters used.
When I hit OK, I get an "Abstract error" whatever that may be.
I have saved the Toad.el file. Please let me know if you would like a copy.
Abe Kornelis.
Sure, I’ll take a look. Does it do the same thing if you just go to the script tab on the right hand side?

John,
In the right-hand pane it displays the script ok. No issues there.
It might be relevant : the table has a column named “REMARK”, the source line for defining that line is shown in green.
Could it be that the export coughs up on the column name?
I’m sending you the error log bty email.
Abe.
