I'm using Toad for MySQL through AWS and am experiencing a background process that just hangs indefinitely which says "Counting Tables". It does not ever end and it prevents me from refreshing or even being able to see my tables. I can do a select * from the tables I know are there but this process is preventing them from showing up in the Object Explorer. There is another topic on this, but it's for sql server and because of that the solution posed does not apply here as I am do not see an option to disable caching (if that even is the issue). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you using Toad for MySQL? That product is no longer supported. You are posting on the Toad Data Point forum. Can you post screenshot of About box? and also full screenshot of app showing object explorer and back ground process?
