We have been getting odd results with some SQL commands after upgrading our DB to: AL32UTF8

Can you be more specific?
You will have to be more specific as to where you are seeing these odd results? Are you using F5 (execute as script) or F9 (execute/compile statement)? What exactly are the results you are seeing? Question marks? Block? Or completely corrupt characters? Are you seeing these results in Toad’s GUI, say script output or the data grid or in a file?
Also note that we have seen some issues when users have upgraded their database character sets after corrupt data had been inserted into them, so please take a look at this link as well…
