I have installed oracle Toad 12.1 but when i connect to some databases using toad . I gets the error of "OCI_INVALID_HANDLE".
Please guide me what actually the issue is behind the scene.
I have seen this error occasionally when the ORACLE_HOME env variable is not set properly, or not set to the proper oracle client location. May want to check the env variable first, then double check that your oracle client is installed correctly.

Which version of Toad?
Which environment variable?
What did you change it from/to?
Which Oracle client version are you using?
Is it a full client or instant client?
Do you have any other Oracle clients installed?
Anything else that you think is pertinent.
