I have had an area of screen at the bottom of the window for some time I’ve just installed v12.7.1.11 and it is still there, it is about 6 cm tall and is the full width of the screen. When a window is minimised, it sits on top of this area, it is not shrinkable in any normal way, it is in the Main application see attached screen shot. when the main window is resized this area is always present.
I wonder if that’s part of the status bar. Have you tried resetting the toolbars? Rt-click on the toolbar at the top (I know, the area is at the bottom but it’s all related) and choose “Restore defaults”
Hi John,
Thanks, this was successful, I had to right click on the add remove buttons then the rest is there, exit and restarted ok
I do recall adding a button to the toolbar previously, I wonder if this caused it ?
Regards

Well, you should be able to add a button to a toolbar without that happening, but maybe something went wrong in the process. Try to add it back again if you still want it, and if the problem happens again, at least now you know how to deal with it. And let us know if it does happen again. We don’t want that to happen, obviously.
This has occurred again, i have tried to reset the toolbars, but to no avail.
currently on 12.7.1.11 downloading 12.8
just wondering if it is related to the icon on the status bar that indicates a new version is available ?
