I get ‘Access Denied’ when the Job Manager opens when trying to schedule a script. I click ‘OK’ and then I don’t see the new task dialog.
Added screencap
Are you an administrator on your computer? Have you tried running as administrator?
I am an administrator
To schedule a task from Toad you have to launch Toad as ‘Run as administrator’. Did you?
I’ve been using TDA/TDP since 3.0 and have scheduled probably 75 items to include a different script in TDP3.6 that same very day and have never did anything special to run Toad and schedule - this simply can’t be true.
There is no doubt that you are a power user and know what you are doing. But it does appear that something has changed and we are not aware of any changes in the Job Manager.
Can you help us out by going to the Windows Scheduler in the OS and see if you can edit or add tasks there. This will help us to determine if there was a change in the operating system or not.
I did enter a new task via the task scheduler as my way around the issue. I don’t have much time to play with it for a few days. I’ll try again in near future and see if I can recreate.
Hi Debbie, PLEASE UNSUBSCRIBE ME. I've unsubscribed once but have started getting emails again. It's rubbish that you have to log in to unsubscribe. Especially when you're password reset functionality doesn't work. So frustrating.

I do see where the Job manager is two builds different from TDP 3.5. But there are no changes that I know of in the Job manager. One thing that does affect this is the UAC level. have you changed your UAC level recently? lowering it may make this issue go away
Hi, I have that same exact problem. Has anyone found a solution?
Alternatively, I was able to schedule a task manually in Task Scheduler that launched Toad 3.6 and opened the automation script. However, the script did not run. Any ideas?
i would suggest to try the latest Beta or trial. These errors are very old and Job Manager is using the latest version of task Schedular
