test connection reconnect after password change

Hi

I have toad 10.

I have a system where the password changes periodically. When the password changes I am often still connected. I have a good many files open in an order which means something to me and so dont want to close my connection and re-open and have to re-open all my files but I do want things like the “run in sqlplus” option to work.

the problem is when I do test connection it realises the connection is still a valid one and doesnt cause me to re-enter the password.

can this be done?

You can use Main Menu -> Session -> Change Password to change your password and
sync up all your open connections to it. It also updates your saved password, if
you have that option enabled.
