I load Toad 12.8 and after connecting to Oracle, I shut Toad down. It won’t quit until I force it to in the Task Manager.
If you wait a few minutes, will Toad close? Does it make any difference if you disconnect from the database first? If not, check Help -> Product Improvement Program. If it’s clicked to “Yes”, try clicking it to “No”.
Product Improvement Program set to No did the trick, Toad now quits properly. We are behind a firewall and external communication goes through a proxy. Good, thank you!
