Toad 9.6 dissapearing

I am using Toad 9.6 and whenever I try to connect to a database it disappears. I launch it and input the parameters but the moment I click connect it disappears but you can see the icon on the taskbar. Can someone assist, please

So, Toad is still running? You can see it in task manager?
If so, maybe it is on a different monitor that is now unplugged?

Hope everyone is safe and well.

This might be a similar problem to the old "window behind the description dialogue" which has been much loved (!) Over the years.

The info on this link might help move the "off screen" Toad, back onscreen.

Allow to cancel Reconnect dialog using ESC - #3 by NormTeamT.
