I’ve got a pop-up about Quest Update not able to connect to the service. I tried to disable any auto-update but when I click in the search result it tries to point to an option that is not there, like it was removed but still indexed.

Thanks for the link. In my organization we don’t have administrator permissions and we connect using proxy. This auto-update service probably is useless to us (and even not recommended, I guess). In next version we’ll be able to disable it from TOAD options then?
Changes to Auto Update are on the radar. I do not know when in-app disablement will be added, but you can install Toad without it. This is documented in the Installation Guide. See the command-line options section.
If you would like to uninstall Auto Update you can run the following command from an elevated command prompt. This will remove it, but it will be installed when you next install Toad unless the command-line argument to suppress it is used.
"C:\Program Files\Quest Software\DBT\Autoupdate\QuestUpdate.WinSetup.exe" uninstall
