Transactions window on startup

Hey all,

In 15.0.37.1092, is there a way to have the Transactions window (Session->Transactions) launch on startup? I don't see it in the list of available windows in the Windows options, but it's been a scary long time since I've reset my options (which, yes, I should probably do, right after I'm done with some rare development I'm trying to finish -- I swear I will! No, really...this time I'm not kidding....probably).

The Transactions window has become a life-saver with our recent changeover to the Cisco VPN where the rules for SQL*Net timeout disconnects are (much?) more strict and reconnecting once lost can take minutes with the threaded option on and multiple DB connections.

Thanks!
Rich

Hi Rich,

No, there isn't, sorry. I think I can add it though. You aren't the first person to ask for this.

Thanks John! If you could go ahead and add that Transactions window to my PuTTY SSH sessions as well, that'd be great...

Rich

Just post that on the PuTTY forum, I'm sure they'll get right on it! :joy:

Hey John,

I forgot to open my Transaction window, got timed out over VPN, and thought to look at the Windows settings and there it is! Works GREAT! Thanks!!!

Rich

You're welcome Rich!

By the way - Someone pointed out to me recently that if your connection is lost (maybe VPN drops or whatever) while the transaction window is open and auto-refreshing, then the auto-refresh stops and you have to click "refresh" to get it going again. I'll have this fixed in 15.1.
