I am trying to set up Automation Designer to execute a script and then send an email. The email part is not working and giving SMTP error message:
[View:~/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/10/Doc3.docx:550:0]
I’m guessing here – so someone else may have a better answer. You have to install a local SMTP email server to do the send mail. I don’t think you can use your
corporate email server for this. I’ve installed some different freeware email servers for doing this kind of thing – so that could be your issue.

Toad 12.0 and newer allows you to enter your username and password for your mail server….that could be what’s preventing you from sending….

I am able to send email using DB Health Check in Toad using my company SMTP. But I want to do the same in Automation Designer in Toad.
I even changed the email setting in Toad from my company SMTP server to gmail (smtp.gmail.com). Now I get this error: "Must issue a STARTTLS command first"

Automation Designer does not support gmail or any other provider that requires secure transfer at this time.
