Hi all,
is there any plan to reimplement this super feature "use smart tabs"
i.e. "pressing TAB in a new line jumps to the next whitespace in the upper line"?
-> nearly can't live without it.

CTRL+Arrow right does it
“CTRL+Arrow right” is not the feature I thought of (but well known anyway ;-))
let’s say you’re entering a bunch of lines locking similar i.e. a sort of a table
example:
foo fuu faa
fee bla blu
^ ^ ^
on a NEW empty line the cursor jumps to these locations by pressing TAB when using “smart tabs”

Thanks for the example. I was about to implement it mostly wrong. I was testing with a line that had text at some arbitrary position and saw that tab on the next line jumped to it, but I had no idea it jumped to each "field" so to speak.

This is back in place for next beta. Existing tab option (spaces or tab) will be reset to use spaces on next beta as a result.
