Error when opening new session

Whenever I open a new session, the following error is raised:

The procedure entry point kputzpinit could not be located in the dynamic link library oraclient1.dll.

After closing the error popup, the session is opened with no apparent problems.

This began appearing a couple of days ago.

Did you make a connection with one Oracle client, end that connection, and then make a different connection with a different Oracle client? Sometimes doing that will lead to such errors. It’s safer to close Toad between switching Oracle clients.
