I just ran my FastReport bar graph for the first time this beta, in 12.10.0.13. I knew something was different because I couldn’t find the “preview” button! When I did, the graph works, but the 3D bars in the bar charts are all grainy halftone black-and-white instead of smooth shading. I looked in the 1,253 options (approximately) for each bar series, but I’m not sure what I’m looking for to be changing. I can run the report in 12.9 GA with FR 4.12 and all’s pretty with the graph.
Yeah that Fast Report component was way overdue for an update. F9 or CTRL+P to preview.
For me the gradient is smooth. Can you send me a screen shot and your TRD file? Maybe on a report against the data dictionary views, so I can actually run it?
I think I’ve got it. I added a new graph, which worked fine. But when I went to change the “SeriesColor” option to “cl3DDkShadow”, the bar graph for that series turns halftone on the preview. I can set the color manually to “$00666666” to approximate it, so that’ll work. From random guessing on the “SeriesColor” option, there appears to be many colors that are now invalid, as though the named option can not be translated to the binary equivalent.
