While describe window is opened I use toolbar icon to add a new column.
Unfortunately this dialog is hidden below describe window, I cannot access it until I move describe window aside before opening this dialog.
I can’t reproduce this - for me the “add column” dialog is always on top of the describe dialog. You are using “Add column” to add the column, right? Not “alter table”?
If “alter table”, that window is a MDI child inside of Toad’s main window, and the Describe dialog is stay-on-top, so what you are seeing is the expected behaviour.
If “add column”, zip up your user files folder and send it to me: john.dorlon@quest.com, and I’ll try it using that.
