- If you know where your user files folder is, close Toad and skip to step 4.
a) Toad version 16.2 or earlier, go to Options > General
b) Toad version 16.3 or later, go to Options -> Files and Folders -> App Folders" - Under “Application data directory” section, click on “Open folder”
- Keep this folder open in Windows Explorer and Close Toad
- In Windows Explorer, go into the User Files folder. Toad.ini is in there.
- Double-click Toad.ini to edit with Notepad.
- Find the [SETTINGS] section and change the values on these lines (or add them if not found):
FeedBackOptIn=0
InternetAccess=0 - Save Toad.ini and try Toad again.
I believe that should help but there will still be a delay. In version 15.0, the timeout will be reduced to 5 seconds.
