don't you?

Nah
Heck I work for Quest and I intend to hit you up for one J

I think the main confusion here is with the installer. Toad team creates
one installer when the freeware gets released. Then each month there is
simply an updated EXE. The key item to note is that the complete
installer is done just that once and hence yes it expired. The process
is as follows: run the main installer once, then each month get the
updated EXE as per the instructions in other replies. It sounds like you
expected the installer to fix the update issue – and it is not designed
to work that way. I won’t argue the merits of the approach, I’ll just
say that’s how it works and that’s why you need to closely adhere to the
instructions at the end of each timeout period.
Probably just need to make that web page more clearer
IF YOUR FREEWARE HAS EXPIRED PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE AND COPY IT INTO
YOUR "PROGRAM FILES/QUEST/TOAD FREEWARE DIRECTORY" OVER WRITTING THE
TOAD.EXE FILE

Coffee mug found! On its way (plus a few other goodies).
Special thanks to Nicole from Marketing. She’s been here near 15 years and
was one of the first employees at Quest. I don’t do much around here, I
just send emails to the people that do.

And now the floodgates open ........
But it's nice that a company takes the trouble to please their users in
this way. Everyone likes a free mug, T Shirt, Jacket, Pen, Bag etc.
(No, that wasn't a hint by the way!)

Wow – first time he’s openly admitted the “big truth”.
Usually he just takes the credit so we think he’s worth keeping J
Unfortunately your 13 page email disclaimer explicitly forbids it. Maybe next

Try again from laptop then!
I have no idea what is forbidden by my 13 page disclaimer. Well, my

That nice “The Fellowship of the Toad” mug? Indeed a very good size mug and it
fits in the coffee machine as well.
And also I like the T-shirt with the Toad: The Next Generation. I always wonder
what the names of the crew are exactly… Is that known? The ship is called
Starship Toadprise? Starship Entertoad? Toadship Enterprise?
Groetjes,
Wim

Oh and if you agree, please find out how I can get another TOAD coffee
mug. I was coming around the corner at work and in order to avoid spilling
coffee on a coworker, my mug hit the wall. And it was perfect size and
shape and I miss it dearly!
Captain Mark T. Pole…forget the other names
Thank’s for hopping to it! I am so excited. Great to be onboard the
Starship EnterToad. I work with two other financial analyst who fear the TOAD.
What can I say – they love Access queries? Every time we have a project
that requires so many millions of records that Access croaks, I gently whisper
to them (a Fellowship chant?), “Embrace the TOAD, embrace the TOAD.”
Oh well, not all are bound for the Fellowship! Some don’t even understand
“talk like a pirate Fridays.”

Access? Millions of records? Oh dear…you need more than a mug!
Exactly – some people even get mad about talk like a pirate day. Life is
too short not to have some minor, fun distractions. And for me talk like a
pirate Friday’s are a nice reminder that the week is almost over J
An hug from the whole Fellowship!

Now remember, Jeff, the Fellowship is open to users of all levels. Maybe I am
just an apprentice Fellowship member. Norm is my sponsoring mentor. What do we
call the sponsoring mentors – Grand Toads?
